Pacific Birth Collective believes that lasting change begins by listening to the people doing this work every day. Whether you’re a midwife, doula, nurse, physician, lactation consultant, educator, therapist, student, or another member of Hawaiʻi’s perinatal community, your voice matters.

The information gathered through this survey will help us better understand the strengths, challenges, and opportunities within Hawaiʻi’s birth community. Your responses will directly inform future programming, partnerships, advocacy efforts, and grant applications that support both birth professionals and the families we serve.

Our hope is to strengthen collaboration across islands, reduce isolation and burnout, improve access to resources, and build a healthier, more connected birth community for everyone.

Together, we can better care for one another—and in doing so, better care for Hawaiʻi’s families.

Volunteer Leadership Opportunity (Optional)

We are growing a network of volunteer Island Leads (Poʻo) who help strengthen connections between Pacific Birth Collective and the communities they serve. Island Leads help us listen, collaborate, and ensure our programs and resources reflect the unique needs, cultures, and priorities of each island.

This volunteer role is an opportunity to help build a stronger statewide birth community by sharing local insights, fostering connections, and supporting occasional outreach and events. We anticipate a commitment of approximately 2–5 hours per month, with flexibility based on your availability.
